I drum every Saturday at 2AM in an all percussion band called
The Manhattan Samba Group
at SOB's, 204 Varick Street, (at Houston).
The director of the band, Ivo Araujo (212-802-8325)
gives beginner classes every Thursday, 8PM
at CMS Studios, 515 West 26th Street (between 10th and 11th).
We have other gigs but I usually don't get a lot
of warning about when they are going to happen.
